Depending on the condition of your teeth, we might recommend regular hygienist visits. We may also recommend a visit prior to other dental treatments, such as implants.

This depends on the condition of your teeth, but your hygienist visit may include:

Scale and polish. This is designed to remove plaque and tartar build-ups in between the teeth and at the back of the mouth, where it can be harder to get a toothbrush in.

Clean and polish. Tea, coffee and other drinks (and some food) can stain the teeth a yellow/brown colour. A clean and polish can help reduce the appearance of staining, helping to give you a brighter smile.

Tailored dental advice. If you don't already use them or need some helpful tips, our hygienist can offer advice on additional dental products, such as floss, interdental brushes, or upgrading to an electric toothbrush.
